lo go mo
I had a lovely lunch with my dad at Logomo kitchen a couple of months back, and just completely forgot about uploading the pictures I quickly snapped while being there. The food was delicious, especially because I was super hungry! I highly recommend the place for lunch if you're in the area. I don't think it was horribly expensive for being a buffet with good food. I'm slightly bummed out about the fact that I forgot to take a picture of my food, haha!
I'm still going strong with my NaNoWriMo novel, which at the moment has reached the milestone of 30,000 words. I hope I'll be able to finish it, even though I have a lot of reading to do for exam weeks.
I hope you are all doing well and managing with the shift from summer to autumn!

dining
My friend Sanni came all the way from Tampere to visit me, and we spent a lovely two days together. Earlier today we went to the flea market, where I bought this lovely yellow dress as it's still very summery here in Finland (believe it or not). We decided to cook some dinner, which turned out tasty. I also went to a Karaoke bar for the first time, which was an interesting experience...

pancakes.
I've been having a super boring weekend, but sometimes it's good to just sit at home and chill. I've actually enjoyed not moving too much and watching extremely mediocre films on Lovefilm. Today however, I wanted to do something different. I found a recipe on Isas blog for banana pancakes. They seemed too yummy not to try, so I actually cooked, haha.
Here's the recipe:
You will need
six average sized pancakes
1 banana
1 egg
1 egg
1 dl milk
1 dl all purpose flour
1 table spoon of liquid honey
a bit of salt and sugar
1 dl all purpose flour
1 table spoon of liquid honey
a bit of salt and sugar
Smash a banana in a bowl with a fork.
Add the egg, mix.
Add milk and honey, mix.
Add flour, salt and sugar, mix.
Let it be for about half an hour.
Cook with a lower temperature than regular pancakes since the sweet mixture burns easily if the temperature is too high.
Use butter or margarin for cooking.

shock me like an electric eel.
So I've been back from Gdansk quite a while already, and I will be posting pictures from that trip soon. Right now I'm trying to decide what to wear for Ruisrock. I always find it hard to try and be convenient and comfy yet looking good at the same time. And the fact that it's going to be over 35 degrees C doesn't really help a lot...
A couple of days ago me and Minni had a little picnic at Turku Castle. It was lots of fun. I really needed to relax after work, and it felt nice to do something summery for once. There were tourists looking at us with weird face-expressions, too...

Before the rush comes kickin’ in
Basically what I've been up to the past few days. Moaning over my long lost hair, I mean, THIS will take forever to fix. Also, addictedly overused and abused instagram, which is probably my favorite app. I don't have the best phone-camera though, sorry for that. I'm just not always in the mood of carrying a heavy DSLR with me.
So yeah.. Been drinking lots of tea, since my throat is kinda soar. I hope I'm not getting sick, since we have exam weeks coming up...

I need some sleep, it can't go on like this
(Eels - I need some sleep)
Knit & scarf: Carlings
Shorts: H&M
So, to celebrate the exam week ending, I bought some highly overpriced macarons from Stockman Herkku, which by the way is my favorite grocery store mostly because of it's amazing variability. They were really tasty, though the best macarons are the ones I had in Paris...
I'm so tired I can't even... Seriously, I can hardly keep my eyes open. I think I'll hit the bed early today!
Oh, by the way! I finally know where I'm going to stay at my exchange year. It'll be in England, somewhere near Cambridge if I remember right... I'm so happy!

Today I don't feel like doing anything..
I'm not in the mood for writing very much today, so I'm trying to keep it simple. Me and my friend Allu hit the countryside for a bit unusual celebration of midsummer. We spent a lot of time with art, which you will be able to see when it's done! That can take a while, since they are oil paintings.. but still.. So we painted, went to the beach and ate a lot of good food! We also had a photoshoot, and I'll be posting the pictures from that somewhere around this week!
Have a good one guys ☺
