to fight this feeling that is growing in my mind

Chinese Lake Autumn // Portmeirion 2012

Possibly one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a while.
That lake was like a mirror, still and bright.
A surface that reminded me of a watercolor painting.

I see London, I see Sams town

A couple of weeks ago I visited London with my exchange-student friend Marta. It was a nice trip, and I'm not going to go into too much detail, as this post would then become even longer than it already is with only half of the pictures I'll be posting. So consider this a part one, all though these pictures aren't really in any chronological order. Nerds as we are, we had to visit platform 9 3/4. Felt like a wizard. Some random muggles walked past the queue looking at us in a strange manner.. muggles..

I didn't go to London in shopping purposes. I only bought the new MUSE album and food. We ate sushi in the park, and I had the most lovely hot chocolate in Cafe Vespa. That cafe reminded me a lot of Bossaliina, my favorite cafe that shut down last year.

We did visit Camden Town as well, but the pictures I took there didn't turn out that great.. anyway, more about London in the next post c:

between the bars.

I'm living with the cutest of cats, Lily(who is a boy by the way) and Rose(a boy as well). Rose is a wanderer that comes and goes how he likes, Lily is almost always at home. I love cats, so I'm happy to be living with these two.

Went to Cambridge for some beauty-product shopping, as I have ran out of everything at the same time. I've been really pleased with ocean salt as my face scrub before so I decided to repurchase the full-sized pot this time. That face mask I bought also does wonders. Leaves my skin feeling soft and calm. Also bought some stuff for my hair and two bath-bombs.

I'm an owl now.

Just wanted to share the awesomeness of my new pajama-thingy with you! Isn't it adorable?
I love owls, so just imagine me finding this at primark. I was really happy, and just couldn't resist grabbing it. Is it weird that I like strolling around the pajama-section? haha.. oh well, I reckon this will be very nice when it gets colder(it already is getting colder..)

When you're up for it before you've grown.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoy school. It might be because of the fact that it's all new and exciting, or the fact that I've chosen only subjects that really interest me(drama, music, media studies & English language and literature). Then again, after a couple of weeks I'll be working hard, because A-levels aren't the easiest to do, especially when you jump right into them from basically nothing, while the other students have done their GCSEs. But working hard always pays off, and this year I'm determined to be a good student.

btw, my school building looks like Hogwarts.. Even the stairs, I swear they move when no one's looking...

you got me got me like this.

A few pictures from yesterday in Cambridge. I went there with my exchange-sister Annabel and Nana from Norway and had probably the best day here so far, all though my new shoes were hurting my feet quite much. 7 hours of going from shop to shop, who said shopping isn't exercise? Stopped a few times at Starbucks to chill out a little. Their blueberry muffins are the best.
